We had the pleasure of preparing a concept design for a new family home (or residential project) with pool and multiple alfresco areas to be built on one of Wamberal’s most desirable coastal acreages. Overlooking the Wamberal valley and bordered by bushland with a picturesque mountainous backdrop to the west, the pine tree fringed, sun-drenched, gently sloping site presented us with an incredible blank canvas on which to bring our client’s vision to life.
The interior design is flooded with natural light and features classic, fresh white walls and ceiling, oak timber kitchen joinery, engineered floor boards and oak timber shaker style internal doors.
The bathrooms are luxurious and predominantly finished in classic neutral tones. The main bathroom features an elegant white freestanding bath, sheer frameless glass shower screen, floor to ceiling porcelain tiled walls. It has a striking yet simple wall hung timber vanity with two matching timber-framed mirrors in a oak timber sourced from local supplier, and elegant porcelain floor tiles embossed with linen texture. We opted for tapware in brushed nickel to add a luxe, modern twist to the classic design.
Multiple alfresco living areas seamlessly connect the home’s interior to the exteriors focal pool and timber decking, sheer frameless glass fencing and landscaping that combines native plants with formal hedges and topiary shrubs to complete the picture. The home is elevated to the rear to optimise the lay of the land, and prevailing sea breezes providing a glorious outlook. stairs lead to terraced gardens that gradually merge into the natural bushland backdrop.
