Retail - Travelworld - Store Design and Fit-out

In an increasingly crowded and competitive global retail landscape, retailers must be absolutely clear and consistent when developing, executing and communicating their strategy and point of difference to the consumers they are targeting. It all begins with the design and fit-out of their retail space, ensuring the finished result is consistent with the retailer’s branding across all aspects of their business from brochures, advertising and website to corporate apparel and their social media presence.

This project was for the design and fit-out of a small Travelworld store at Westfield Tuggerah. Being a franchise within a large shopping centre, the store had to be designed in accordance with both Travelworld and Westfield design guidelines.

Our brief for the interior design included spatial planning, joinery design, furniture selection and signage/artwork design. The outcome is a vibrant, well laid out store designed to generate excitement in anticipation of travel and draw the eye towards the merchandising displays. Features include:

- A welcoming and comfortable customer sitting area,
- Travel agent desks,
- Executive desk backed by a feature display,
- Brochure display stand,
- Staff kitchenette tucked discretely behind the director’s desk,
- Functional storeroom.
