Aged Care - Seniors Living Precinct - Concept Masterplan

We were engaged by our client, Peninsula Village Centre, to create a strategic 10 to 15-year Masterplan concept design for a new seniors living precinct. We worked closely with Peninsula Village Centre's executive leadership team, including a large Board of Directors, adapting to a number of specific requests and changes along the way.

This project required us to identify the buildings within the existing precinct that required upgrade, those that needed to be fully renovated and plan for the development of several future facilities to be completed within the next 15 years.

Peninsula Village Centre's Aged Care and Seniors Living Masterplan project consisted of the following:

- Upgrade of the existing hostel,
- Upgrade of the independent living units (ILUs),
- Upgrade and extensive renovation of the existing nursing home,
- New 3-storey aged care facility,
- Multi-storey carpark,
- New 3-storey building consisting of serviced apartments, a training centre, medical centre, cafe and administration area.
- Retirement villas,
- New commercial kitchen and laundry facilities,
- New childcare centre.

Client Feedback

Claudia’s designs were absolutely beautiful and carefully considered. She coped exceptionally well with the challenge of adapting to a number of Peninsula Village Centre leadership changes and working with a large Board of Directors. Claudia was very flexible to change requests and utterly professional every step of the way.
