As part of our extensive work over several years with Peninsula Village Centre, including the development of a 10 to 15-year concept Master Plan and the design of a new 120-bed facility, including a dementia care unit, we were asked to renovate the interior of their existing Independent Living Units (ILUs) within the seniors living precinct, some of which were more than 40 years old.
The vision behind the interior ILU renovations was to support residents in maintaining their independence within their own units for as long as possible, giving them what they need to fulfil this vision, while simultaneously providing a welcoming, modern contemporary and comfortable space to call home.
Our scope included:
Reconfiguration of the existing layout to improve functionality,
Design and detail of custom joinery,
Selection of finishes, window treatments and appliances,
Construction and project management of the entire renovation.
Here is an example of one of the newly renovated ILUs within Peninsula Village Centre’s seniors living precinct.
Claudia worked on the designs for this renovation project and Vince worked with us in his capacity as a builder and project manager. The pair work seamlessly together. Both Claudia and Vince are very easy to work with and nothing is ever a problem, even when called in at short notice.
