Shell Service Station, Hoxton Park

The client purchased a site of approximately 7400m2, with an existing Hungry Jacks fast food outlet and wanted to develop the site with a new service station and coin-operated car wash.
Construction was in pre-cast concrete panels, with a metal deck skillion roof.
We were responsible for the appointment of the design team to document the project for submission of the development application and construction certificate. This meant attending design meetings and instructing the design consultants on the client’s behalf. Also, assisting the client in negotiating the pre-lease agreement for the service station and car wash facilities.
Once development application and construction certificate approvals were received, we were responsible for the construction management of the entire project. This included the commissioning of fuel pumps and car wash equipment.
The project had a very tight timeline and was completed 6 weeks ahead of schedule.
